Our Process
We built this process to remove three secondhand worries: hidden wear, cleanliness questions, and unclear history. Here is what happens before a Karabean Snoo is delivered.
Every step below exists to reduce one of the three big secondhand worries: hidden mechanical wear, sanitation uncertainty, or unclear product history.
We start by rejecting the wrong units. Karabean sources from verified private sellers and direct-from-family listings, not bulk liquidation channels. Units with structural damage, water exposure, or unclear history do not move forward.
Secondhand risk often lives inside the unit. We fully disassemble the bassinet, inspect wiring and internal components, and document what was checked.
This is where we address the wear that makes used Snoos risky. The motor assembly is serviced, the O-ring is replaced, bearings are cleaned and re-lubricated, and the core components are bench-tested before reassembly.
Cleaning is about preparing the Snoo for a new household, not making it look good in photos. Mesh, fabric, and surfaces go through a repeatable sanitation process designed for the materials.
After reassembly, the Snoo goes through motion and sound testing again. If it does not pass, it goes back for more work instead of going to a customer.
We would rather reject a Snoo than ask a customer to discover the problem at home.
These are the questions buyers ask when they want proof, not just reassurance.
Every Karabean package includes the same restoration process. The choice is how much setup help and gear you want on top of it.
